إِنَّ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةَ مِنْ شَعَائِرِ اللَّهِ فَمَنْ حَجَّ الْبَيْتَ أَوِ اعْتَمَرَ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِ أَنْ يَطَّوَّفَ بِهِمَا وَمَنْ  تَطَوَّعَ خَيْرًا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ شَاكِرٌ عَلِيمٌ

" Surely the Safa and the Marwa are among the signs of Allah; so whoever makes a pilgimage to the house or pays a visit to it, there is no sin on him if he goes round them both; and whoever does good spontaneoulsy, then surely Allah is Gratefu, Knowing." (Al-Baqarah: 158)
